Panda Love

Chengdu is the most popular place for backpackers to travel from China to Tibet and is a hive of hippy travellers trying to do their bit for cultural awareness. I, on the other hand, came to Chengdu to see the Pandas.

I took nearly 100 photos on my trip to the Panda Breeding Centre - here's just a sample until I get home and we can do a Panda slide show!

The Panda was in danger of becoming a drop bear before one of his mates saved him!

I paid a fortune - well $60 - to have my photo taken with a Panda. Money well spent I say. The hair is surprisingly course. He didn't seem to care. He was just eating his bamboo.

These two pandas are the stars of the following video (stay tuned because I'm having trouble uploading it) They had a love/hate relationship and at times you couldn't tell which. This looks like a love moment. They wrestled for about half an hour and I was the only one there to see it!
