Au Revoir France

Well, tonight is my last night in France and a perfect opportunity to reflect on the past two weeks and the wonderful time I've had.

As I've said more than once to anyone who will listen, I'm in love with France. It's not just the food and wine but the quirky aspects of the culture.

Here's just a snippet of the things I've found endearing:

- Men eat cake on the street, just because they can
- Tourists think if they wear sailors hats by the seaside, other people will think they're French
- Grannies ride bikes and sunbake topless
- Police double pack on corners
- Pizza crust tastes like croissant
- You never have to wear a watch because the church bells tell the time for you
- There's a carousel in every park
- The pedestrian crossing light man wears a hat
- Women take their dogs shopping and pretty much everywhere else
