Croatia - take two

My second stint in Dubrovnik was an entirely different experience. When I got back there, the search for missing backpacker Britt Lapthorne was already well underway. I decided to offer my services to 2gb and soon found myself on Sunrise, the Morning show and Seven’s Morning news.

It is an incredibly sad story which really makes you think twice about travelling alone. I can’t imagine how my family would cope in such circumstances but the Lapthorne’s have been amazingly strong.

One of the most frustrating things for the family has been the lack of cooperation from the AFP officer who’s has been dubbed ‘the phantom’. After a week in Dubrovnik, he finally turned up at the family’s hotel. We crowded the car to get a shot of him, I was in front and very nearly got run over but managed to get one of the clearest shots which ended up in The Age!
